Various applications include storing routing configurations for monitor setups, mixer configurations for stem and scene recall, and storing analog level standards for interfacing with external gear and managing different mastering standards. The preset management popup controls within MIO Console allow you to configure various aspects of Mobile I/O and save that configuration information for later recall. In order to simplify work flow and optimize the extent of system control, MIO Console supports comprehensive preset management on both a global and individual control level. The patchbay provides easy configuration of stand-alone operation, mix mults, direct outs and various combinations thereof to suit the needs of the moment. MIO Console also contains a patchbay router, which allows you to quickly select the source being fed to any output.

This document details using MIO Console with interfaces with no 2d card, which we refer to as "Legacy" boxes. If you are using a 2d Expanded unit, you should consult the MIO Console Overview For 2d file for details on using the v5 Mixer. It also allows you to assign CoreAudio output channels and hardware input channels to the integrated 80-bit, fully-interpolated, multi-bus, near zero-latency hardware mixer.Īll new Metric Halo interfaces come with a 2d card and are called 2d Expanded you can also add the 2d card to older units.

It's great shifting a modern transmission though and that extra gear will be great.MIO Console is the nerve center of your Mobile I/O. I had to drop my engine a bit to get the correct driveshaft angle (-2Deg at trans, +2deg at differential. The CD999 shifter sits in the original location but I did need to cut out some of the tunnel to have it fit due to its design. To my surprise, the holes line up perfectly. I made a mount bracket and used my GK Tech RB trans mount. All I can say is an air hammer is your friend when it comes to making room. when milling down the bell housing as apposed to using the longer flywheel. I'll probably create a DIY with more details on here once I have time as I could not find much if anything about the installation process, correct release bearing, etc. Spent more time measuring and confirming things then actually installing it as I was nervous getting it to work with my twin disc as Collins said it couldn't be done. In hindsight, it's a somewhat easy job once you you've done it before. What a bitch it was getting that in, they are rather large and heavy.
